A methodologist is employed by the Ministry of Education to supervise the quality of kindergarten education.

In January 2018, UAFA selected 4 methodologists from Agsu, Shirvan, Gobustan and Siyazin to participate in new trainings in child-centred methods of education at School #23 in Baku, our partner in building quality education services.

They spent 5 days receiving theoretical and practical training which will help them to support the leaders of the 16 new pre-schools that are opening in these regions under UAFA’s program supported by the South Caucasus Pipeline Company and Engin LLC.

One methodologist will be responsible for supervising 4 pre-school groups, each containing 20-25 children between 2 – 6 years old, with and without disabilities. That means that already 400 children will benefit this year.  UAFA’s vision is that every village across Azerbaijan will have an inclusive pre-school so that children have the best educational start in life.
